What is Imbolc?

Imbolc is a nature festival that marks the midpoint between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, traditionally observed on February 1st in the Northern Hemisphere.

It heralds the arrival of spring, the awakening of the earth from winter's slumber, and is one of the four fire festivals in the seasonal cycle, celebrating the return of light after the darkest months.
